Fights
Fights are the core competitive activity in the game.
Players challenge each other using their monsters.
Different fight types offer different risks and rewards.
Skill rounds can be added to a fight to adjust your final chances.
The fight outcome is ultimately randomly decided by a spinner.
Skill rounds are bonus rounds that take place before the final round.
Players choose between Attack, Defense, Brains and Tricks - each skill counters one skill and is countered by another.
Winning skill rounds takes a portion of your opponent's monster strength, increasing your chances of winning the final round.
Fights can contain 0 to 7 skill rounds, selected in the fight offer.
A Bite fight is a low-risk fight type.
These fights are designed for progression and competition without major consequences.
The only possible outcome of a Bite fight is Bite.
A Collect fight is a high-risk fight type.
Winning a Collect fight adds the opponent's monster to your collection.
If your opponent selected Collect and wins the fight, they will receive your monster.
Players choose either Collect or Eat independently before the fight, meaning fights can be Collect vs Collect, Collect vs Eat or Eat vs Eat.
An Eat fight is a high-risk fight type.
Winning an Eat fight takes a large amount of strength from the opponent's monster.
If your opponent selected Eat and wins the fight, your monster will be sent to the graveyard (if it's not full).
Players choose either Collect or Eat independently before the fight, meaning fights can be Collect vs Collect, Collect vs Eat or Eat vs Eat.
The graveyard stores up to 4 eaten monsters.
Players can use Nuggets to resurrect monsters or incinerate them; permanently removing that monster from the game.
If a player's graveyard is already full when another monster is eaten, that monster is permanently removed from the game.

PvP combat is the main way to progress in Fight My Monster.
You can see all players on the map and select who you want to challenge.
Only online players can be challenged.

Bite fights risk the least as they only take a portion of monster strength.
Training in the Dojo is a slower but risk-free method of progression.

Nuggets are the main currency used throughout Fight My Monster.
They can also allow you to travel to different areas of the map.
The main ways to earn Nuggets are through fights, Arcade minigames, missions, achievements, levelling and selling monsters.
New methods may be added as development continues.
Nuggets can be spent on monsters and fights.
This includes growing monsters, buying monsters, betting on fights and paying players to accept fights.

The map represents the world of Fight My Monster and is made up of 13 regions.
Your position is influenced by your monsters' strength and Nugget stash.
The strongest and wealthiest players are found in the top right of the map.
Your position updates automatically as you progress.
Increase your monster collection and their strength to go further along the map.
Increase your Nugget stash to go further up the map.
You become one of the highest-ranked players in the game.
Reaching the top is a major achievement that reflects your progress and success.
Maintaining your position can be just as challenging as reaching it.
