By accessing or using the Fight My Monster websites, services, applications, community spaces, events, accounts, content or any other associated platforms operated by Fight My Monster ("FMM", "we", "our" or "us"), you agree to comply with these Terms of Use.

These terms apply to all visitors, community members, account holders, subscribers, event participants and users of any Fight My Monster service.

About Fight My Monster

Fight My Monster is an online game and community platform operated by the Fight My Monster team.

Our services may evolve over time through updates, feature additions, content changes, balancing adjustments, maintenance and ongoing development.

Accounts and Account Responsibility

You are responsible for:

Violations may result in warnings, restrictions, suspensions or permanent bans.

Discovering and responsibly reporting bugs, vulnerabilities, exploits or unintended behaviour is encouraged.

However, users must not intentionally abuse, repeatedly reproduce beyond reasonable verification, distribute, publicise, automate, profit from or otherwise exploit such issues without our prior permission.

We reserve the right to take enforcement action where we reasonably determine that a bug, exploit or vulnerability has been abused, regardless of whether a personal benefit was obtained.

Community Standards

Users must behave respectfully across all official Fight My Monster services, including Discord, events, social platforms, support communications and any future community services.

User Content and Submissions

You may voluntarily submit content including artwork, event entries, monster concepts, feedback, suggestions, bug reports and other materials.

Except where otherwise stated, you retain ownership of original creative content that you create and submit.

By submitting content to Fight My Monster, you grant Fight My Monster a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, display, modify, adapt, distribute, publish and incorporate that content into our services, promotional materials, events and game-related content.

This licence survives account closure or service termination.

User-generated content represents the views and creations of the individual creator and does not necessarily reflect the views of Fight My Monster.

Participation in Fight My Monster does not create any employment, partnership, agency or ownership relationship unless expressly agreed in writing.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all Fight My Monster content is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Logos and branding.
• Artwork and illustrations.
• Monster designs.
• User interface elements.
• Website content.
• Written content and documentation.
• Audio, visual and promotional materials.
• Software, systems and source code.

Ownership may belong to members of the Fight My Monster team, contributors, licensors or other authorised rights holders.

Restrictions on Use

Except where expressly permitted, you may not:

• Copy or redistribute protected content.
• Sell or commercially exploit Fight My Monster assets.
• Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to derive source code from protected materials, except to the extent such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law.
• Create derivative commercial works using Fight My Monster content.
• Remove copyright notices or ownership information.

Fan content, including videos, livestreams, screenshots, artwork, guides, community websites and similar creations, is generally permitted provided it complies with these Terms of Use, does not falsely imply official affiliation and does not infringe the rights of others.

Reasonable monetisation of fan content through advertising revenue, platform partner programs, donations or similar creator-support mechanisms is permitted unless otherwise prohibited by us in writing.

We reserve the right to request removal or modification of fan content that we reasonably believe harms the Fight My Monster project, community, intellectual property or legal interests.

Virtual items, currencies, rewards, memberships, account progress and other digital features are licensed, not sold, to users.

Users acquire no ownership rights in virtual items or digital content.

Such items have no real-world monetary value, may not be redeemed for money and may be modified, restricted, replaced or removed at any time as part of the operation of the services.

Feedback and Suggestions

We welcome suggestions, ideas, feedback and recommendations.

You acknowledge that:

• We may use submitted ideas without restriction.
• We are not obligated to implement suggestions.
• We may modify, reject or discontinue proposed ideas.
• No compensation is owed for submitted suggestions unless explicitly agreed in writing.

Payments and Memberships

Certain services may require payment, subscription, membership, digital purchases or third-party purchases.

Payments may be processed through third-party providers including Patreon or other payment platforms.

We are not responsible for payment processing systems operated by third parties.

Refunds and Cancellations

Refund eligibility, subscription cancellations and payment disputes may be governed by the policies of the relevant payment provider.

Where purchases are processed through third-party services, users should consult the applicable provider's policies.

Except where required by applicable law, purchases, subscriptions, memberships and digital items are non-refundable.

Development builds, testing environments, beta releases and unfinished content may contain bugs, errors, missing features or unexpected behaviour.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Fight My Monster team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages arising from the use of our services.

This includes loss of data, loss of access, service interruptions, technical failures, third-party actions, account issues or user conduct.

Third-Party Services

Fight My Monster may utilise or link to third-party services including Discord, Patreon, analytics providers, social platforms, hosting providers and other external services.

Use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies.

We are not responsible for third-party services or their actions.

Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any Fight My Monster service at any time where necessary to protect the project, community, systems, users or legal interests of the team.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Use is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement
